These standards apply to everything FrontWord publishes, including our daily newsletter.
Sources and attribution
We report a story only when at least two independent outlets are covering it, or when it comes from a primary source such as an official announcement. Claims are attributed in the text. We never copy other outlets’ writing: every article is written in our own words and checked for originality before publication.
Accuracy
Numbers, names and dates are checked against the sources. Where sources disagree, we say so. Allegations against named people or companies are only published when they are on the record and clearly attributed.
Use of AI
AI tools help us research, draft and illustrate our coverage. People set the rules the tools follow and review what we publish. We do not use AI-generated images: our pictures are official images published by the companies we write about, or licensed photographs, and each is credited.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we correct it promptly and note the change on the article. To report an error, use our contact page.
Independence
Advertising and partnerships never influence what we cover or how. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be clearly labelled.
